    GREEN POINT CHRISTIAN COLLEGE

A ministry of Green Point Baptist Church

Our motto is “Equipped for Life

Please see below for current employment opportunities at GPCC.

Director of ICT (Full-time) - Green Point Christian College GPCC / Director of ICT

    Staff Member of the Week

    IMG_9303.jpg
Our Staff Member of the Week award was presented to Mrs Leonie Groenenboom.
Leonie is such a valuable member of the Primary staff, she is incredibly wise, does her job quietly yet extremely efficiently, the students love her, as do her team around her.

She has taken over the role of the Primary garden this year and ensures it is well kept and looking beautiful always. She is always very supportive of her colleagues, lifts the team up with her encouraging words and brings an abundance of wisdom in all areas. Whenever there is a request put out for an email to be actioned, job to be done, Leonie is one of the first to reply and has it all organised.

Fundraiser finishes on Sunday 4 June in Support of Annual Rivers Convention

GPCC has launched a fundraising project today that will run until Sunday 4 June to help raise funds towards a truck for Pastor Isaac and the team that conduct the Rivers Convention each Easter.

You can learn more about this project at the special webpage set up for this fundraising effort - http://Qr.survival.net.au/gpcc

The fundraiser is in partnership with Survival First Aid Kits, with Green Point Christian College receiving a 25% cash return towards our project for every purchase made through our unique portal - http://Qr.survival.net.au/gpcc

As the purchaser you will also receive a 10% discount off the recommended retail price by using the code GPCC.

Please note that this fundraiser can also be shared with family and friends who may want to purchase a first kit at this time, but they will also need to use the GPCC portal (http://Qr.survival.net.au/gpcc) rather than purchase direct through the Survival website. You will see the posters up around the College and in our newsletter over the coming month.

Thank you for your support, and we are looking forward to reaching our goal together and supporting Pastor Isaac and the team as they share the good news throughout the Central West.

    Brewarrina Christian School visit

It was wonderful having Brewarrina Christian School students, Pastor Isaac and the Turner family visit from Friday 26 May to Monday 29 May. The boys enjoyed playing basketball with the seniors. The Year 6 students visited friends made on the Canberra excursion. The BCS students and staff enjoyed sight seeing over the weekend, including visiting Kincumber Mountain and swimming at Caves Beach.

We talked in Secondary Assembly about learning from and about each other, to move our nation forward towards true Reconciliation. The BCS students expressed that there were more students at Green Point than the whole of Bre, it was overwhelming for them at times. The students had a great experience at Green Point and are now back in Brewarrina with Years 9 and 10 Visual Art students visiting.
