In our PDH lessons, the students have begun working through our Friendship Skills program called UR Strong. Last week they were introduced to the program and this week they have been learning about different emotions and strategies they can use to self-manage positive and negative feelings.

The UR Strong website has a fantastic resource hub for parents to access so that you can continue talking with your children at home about friendship. There is a video series that you can watch with your child to help spark conversations at home.

By partnering with you in this program, we aim to equip our students with a solid foundation for dealing with the ups and downs and relationships. I encourage you to take some time to look through the website and spend some time at home discussing your child’s friendships using the UR Strong tips as well as praying with them.

Mother's Day Breakfast

On Friday, the Primary school students celebrated with their mums, grandmas and mother figures at our Mothers’ Day Breakfast. It was a wonderful time of fellowship and community as we honoured all of these amazing people. We are so thankful to God for our families here at our College and for the way we can partner with them to raise a generation of young people who loves Jesus.
