Mrs Amanda Rutlidge | Acting Head of Primary

Building resilience in children as parents can be tricky. We can be quick to step in when our children are experiencing conflict. As part of our UR Strong program we are teaching children how to navigate friendship fires and deal with conflict, and as a result become more resilient and capable of dealing with tricky relationships. When to Step-IN and when to Step-BACK has some helpful advice for parents when children are experiencing problems.

Another great resource for parents is Triple P Parenting, which has a range of free online parenting courses for parents of babies up to parents of teens.

Calling all those handy with a glue gun, sewing machine and scissors! We are looking for helpers to assist with costume assembly for our upcoming musical.

We are having a working bee in the Staff Common Room on Thursday 27 June from 8.30am. Please come and stay as long as you can. Any assistance will be greatly appreciated. Please sign in at the office upon arrival. We look forward to a fun and creative morning.

Primary Choir - Term 3

In Term 3 Primary Choir will return to meeting each Tuesday morning at 8:00am in the CAPA Theatre.

We ask that students walk down the pathway next to the MPC and not walk on the road at this time, as cars will be entering school grounds. Mrs McKeown and Mrs Munro will meet students at the CAPA Theatre.

Visit from Mrs Harris

At staff devotions we had a lovely visit from Mrs Amanda Harris, who taught at GPCC for 18 years in the Primary school. Amanda and her husband are living and serving  in Kathmandu in Nepal. Amanda works as a school teacher and her husband, Greg teaches at a Bible College. It was wonderful to hear Amanda share with our staff about their work and ministry in Kathmandu, and that we can continue as a College community to pray for them.
