Premier’s Reading Challenge 2025

The 2025 PRC Challenge opens on Monday 24th February. All students K-9 are enrolled in this Challenge. The Challenge ends on Friday 22nd August 2025.

Booklists are already available on the PRC website.

A reminder that any suitable books read from the beginning of September 2024 can be recorded and used for the Premier’s Reading Challenge 2025.

Please refer to the PRC website for rules and regulations, booklists and reading logs. Students will be given assistance at school to log their reading throughout the Challenge.

Students can identify books selected for the PRC by looking for the appropriate age category stickers on our library books. See example below:

Years K-2 achieve the Challenge automatically as they read PRC stories during their regular Library lessons each week. The library staff update the K-2 reading logs at the completion of the Challenge at the end of August. 

Students can talk to library staff or email librarystaff@gpcc.nsw.edu.au if they have more questions. Login details will be sent home with Primary students in Week 5.

Scholastic Book Club - Issue 1

Issue 1 Scholastic booklets have gone out to Primary classrooms, orders can be placed online at LOGIN (scholastic.com.au) Orders close on Sunday 23th February.
