Welcome Back
A warm welcome back to all our families on this wet and wild start to Term 2. I hope you had a restful break and found time to reflect on the incredible gift of salvation over the Easter season.
It has been a joy to welcome our students back and hear the buzz of voices filling the college once again as learning gets underway.
The term has kicked off with great energy and some exciting developments. Over the break, our IT team successfully completed a major migration of all systems. This significant upgrade will allow for greater efficiency and long-term streamlining of processes. While a few smaller components are still coming back online and some minor challenges remain, the team has done an outstanding job and we are excited for the improvements to come.
We are also in the final stages of moving into our new administration centre, and looking forward to opening this beautiful new space to the community very soon. As we do, there will be some changes to student travel paths and meeting locations. Please keep an eye out for further updates over the coming week.
And finally, this morning as some of our primary students were preparing to head off to the athletics carnival, we got talking about which house I belonged to. I explained that as Principal, I support all the houses. They pointed out that my outfit wasn’t showing equal support for all the house colours, a situation that clearly needed correcting. So, for your viewing pleasure, here’s what we came up with.
Anzac Chapel - Honouring our Heroes
A heartfelt thank you to all the families who shared photos of loved ones who have served, or are currently serving in the armed forces for our ANZAC Chapel Service. This deeply personal tribute added a powerful and moving dimension to our time together, helping bring the meaning of ANZAC Day to life in a way that touched many hearts.
