Community News
Jacqui is an outstanding Year Advisor who cares deeply for her students. Her support extends well beyond helping them navigate the HSC, she creates a sense of belonging and connection through initiatives like movie nights and other social events within the year group.
Jacqui also provides Year 12 students with meaningful opportunities to lead and serve the wider school community. One example is the inspiring Secondary Assembly “Weathering the Storm”, which she organised to raise awareness around mental health.
Beyond her Year Advisor role, Jacqui leads an extra-curricular ballroom dancing group and last year coordinated a memorable whole school event to raise funds for the Bali Life Foundation.
Jacqui is an exemplary staff member who serves with excellence and a heart that reflects her love for Jesus. We are truly grateful for all that she brings to our community.
During the holidays, Year 11 student Micah R represented GPCC with distinction at a community ANZAC Day service held at Peninsula Village. Invited through the school, Micah played both the Last Post and Reveille, honouring our servicemen and women with skill and respect.
The event organiser, Greg, expressed sincere gratitude for Micah’s participation and for GPCC’s ongoing commitment to community engagement. Micah’s involvement was a powerful example of Godly character and servant-hearted leadership, and we are proud of the way he represented our College. Micah also played the Last Post from the mezanine in the MPC during our Anzac Service Chapel Time on Wednesday.
