Head of Primary

Amanda-Rutlidge-2023.JPGMrs Amanda Rutlidge | Head of Primary

A very warm welcome back to school for our Primary Students this week. We were all delighted to see so many happy faces in our playground and classrooms.

As a College, we will be exploring our learning muscles of 'Serving, Honouring and Connecting' which will be the focus of our Chapel services this term. Our bible verse focus for the term will be:

John 12: 26

"Whoever serves me must follow me; and where I am, my servant also will be. My Father will honour the one who serves me."

100 Days of Kindy

Today, our Kindergarten students celebrated 100 Days of Kindergarten in style. To mark the occasion, they dressed up with some fun costumes that included glasses, grey hair, and walking sticks. The fun didn't stop there, they also took on the challenge of counting 100 licks of their lollipops. The day was filled with laughter as they reflected on all they've learned and accomplished so far this year. Here's to many more exciting days ahead.

Parent Partnership

Thank you to our teachers for taking the time to meet with parents at our Parent Partnership interviews on Wednesday and thank you to all who attended throughout the afternoon and evening. We so appreciate the opportunity to meet and discuss how we can continue to support your children in their education. If you were unable to make a time to meet with your child's teacher, please don't hesitate to contact them to organise a time.

Winter Uniform

As we are experiencing some rather chilly weather at the moment, please note that if you would like your child to wear a long sleeve t-shirt or thermal underneath the formal shirt/blouse, they need to wear the long sleeve option which is available at the uniform shop.

Year 6 Canberra Trip - PACER Acknowledgement

The Australian Government recognises the importance of all young Australians being able to visit the national capital as part of their Civics and Citizenship education. To assist families in meeting the cost of the excursion the Australian Government is contributing funding to our school in the amount of $30 per student under the Parliament and Civics Education Rebate program towards those costs. The rebate is paid directly to the school upon completion of the excursion.
