One of the great joys of our school is the energy, variety, and sense of purpose that fills each day. There is always something happening and with every opportunity, our students are learning, growing and connecting in meaningful ways.

I am writing this on Wednesday, and today at school we have all of these things happening:

• Year 12 students are doing their Trial HSC Exams, with Business Studies, Extension Mathematics, and Extension English.
• Our new Year 11 Prefects are away on their leadership camp, preparing to serve and lead the student body in the year ahead.
• On the sporting field, our Under 16 Boys are representing us at the 9’s Rugby League Gala Day.
• Meanwhile, our Year 8 girls are participating in a Healthy Relationships incursion, building the understanding and resilience they need for life beyond the classroom.

Days like these remind us that a school is far more than just a timetable of lessons, it is a community. GPCC is a place where students can discover their strengths, try new things and be encouraged by the people around them. We are proud to offer such a wide range of opportunities and grateful for the staff, students and families who make it all possible.
