Busways - Bus Awareness Week
This Road Rules Awareness Week (August 18 -24), please remember the importance of safe driving around buses and road rule refreshers. By promoting safe driving, awareness around buses, and highlighting commonly misunderstood road rules, we can help reduce road accidents.

- Buses are large, heavy vehicles that cannot stop quickly
- Please give way to buses
- Slow down to 40km/h when bus lights flash – as children may run out from behind or in front of the bus unexpectedly
- Hold on while travelling and remain seated until the bus stops .
