Stepping Into the Next Chapter with God’s Wisdom and Grace
As we approach the final week of school for our Year 12 students, we are filled with both joy and gratitude. This is a special time in the life of our school community, as we farewell a group of young people who have grown in faith, character, and learning throughout their time with us.
Next week, our students will mark their graduation, a significant milestone that reflects years of hard work, perseverance, and the support of families, teachers, and friends. Graduation is not only a celebration of academic achievement but also of the way our students have sought to live out their faith and serve others during their time at school.
We give thanks to God for each Year 12 student, praying that as they step into the next chapter of their lives, they will continue to walk in His wisdom and grace. I would like to encourage all of our graduates with the words from Deuteronomy 31:8, reminding them that “The LORD himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you or forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged."
Students Nominated for OnSTAGE
We are thrilled to share that four of our Year 12 Drama students have been nominated for possible inclusion in OnSTAGE, an annual showcase of the best HSC Drama performances and projects, held at the Seymour Centre from Saturday 7 February to Friday 13 February 2026.
OnSTAGE nominations are an incredible achievement, as only a select number of performances from across the state are chosen for consideration. To be nominated, students first perform their HSC piece, which is then recorded and submitted for judging.
This year, four of our students received nominations, a wonderful testament to their creativity, talent, and dedication, as well as to the guidance of our Drama teacher, Mrs Jess Gardiner.
Congratulations to the following students for their nominations:
- Amelia H – A Woman Alone
 - Tirzah H – The Player
 - Luke J – Doug
 - Matilda W – About a Goth

We give thanks to God for the gifts and hard work of these students and look forward to seeing how their talents continue to shine beyond the HSC.
