Creative and Performing Arts
We are thrilled to announce that Green Point Christian College has received a National Award at the 2025 Wakakirri Performing Arts Festival.
National Awards are presented to only a select number of schools across Australia whose performances stand out for their excellence in creativity, performance, and storytelling.
This year, our Wakakirri troupe brought to life the inspiring story of Matt Formston, a blind athlete, Paralympian, world champion surfer, and local hero. Their performance captured Matt’s determination, courage, and unwavering spirit, and we couldn’t be prouder of the students and teachers who worked tirelessly to bring this story to the stage.
You can watch the performance and view the full list of results on the Wakakirri website. To learn more about Matt’s incredible journey, visit mattformston.com.
Watch the moment our students discovered the exciting news in the video on the News section of our website.
