Year 6 Stepping up

This week, our Year 6 students enjoyed a wonderful week experiencing what life in Year 7 is all about. Students explored new subjects, met some of their future teachers and discovered new learning spaces. Our students embraced every moment with enthusiasm and curiosity.

We are so proud of the way they engaged, asked questions, and supported one another throughout the experience. It’s a joy to see their confidence growing as they prepare for this exciting next chapter.

At GPCC, we’re committed to making the transition to high school a positive and encouraging journey.

A heartfelt thank you to our families for generously supporting Operation Christmas Child. Together, we packed an amazing 262 shoeboxes, each filled with love and hope, now on their way to children in need across the world.

Primary Afternoon Kiss & Drop Update

To help alleviate the traffic overflow back onto Avoca Drive in the afternoon while waiting for the Kiss & Drop to start operating, we are encouraging families arriving prior to 3.15pm to enter and park in the P3 carpark adjacent to 7-Eleven.

Our friendly Green Team staff have been on location to help usher cars into and out of these parking spaces, and to assist drivers being able to rejoin the line-up as soon as the Kiss & Drop starts operating at 3.15pm.

This measure will help avoid cars blocking the Bus Bay on Avoca Drive, which has interrupted buses being able to stop for essential drop-off or pick-up at this location.

By reducing the line-up into the College, we hope to also help with the general traffic flow along Avoca Drive at this peak time.
