Head of Secondary
Mr Peter McLellan | Head of Secondary
Trial Exams have been completed and now Year 12's focus needs to be on completing Major Works and Course material. This means that students need to be in class. Teachers also have revision ready for them to undertake. It is such a great time to get study underway. Every Year 12 student needs to be in class if they are to achieve the results of which they are capable.
Year 12 Don’t Forget ...
Fight on! It is time to study and perfect your skills for the days ahead. You can improve and achieve the results you desire.
- Attend school;
- Be in class;
- Concentrate and Aask questions of your teachers;
- Work hard.
Please pray for Year 12 and their motivation and determination to finish the year in a positive strong manner.

Extension 2 English Major Works
On Friday 21August, our three Year 12 Extension 2 English students submitted their Final Major Works across the fields of poetry, podcasts and short film.
This is the culmination of a year’s worth of work and they have shown great resilience and perseverance during this time. Some of the major works were significantly affected by COVID-19 restrictions and we want to particularly recognise the way that the students encouraged and cared for each other. Their teacher, Mrs Gaffney, has been a wonderful mentor, guide and facilitator in this process and the students have often expressed their gratitude and appreciation of her hard work, time and energy.
Congratulations to Jessica B, Jemilla H and Tabitha L for completing this part of their HSC.
