HOUSE CUP
The GPCC House Cup began this week and it has been a very exciting start to the competition. This competition is held at recess for the relevant stages, with the focus on teamwork in the mixed House teams.
We have 10 teams competing in the Years 3 and 4 Division, while 11 teams are playing in the Years 5 and 6 Division. Our Years 3 and 4 House teams competed in Soccer on Tuesday and then International Handball on Thursday. Our Years 5 and 6 teams played their soccer competition on Wednesday and were scheduled to play Basketball on Friday, but were unable to due to being dressed up in their Book Week characters.
The Years 7 and 8 Boys Division played Basketball in their first sport, with the Eagles winning this competition after their two straight game victories. As they are the Years 7 and 8 Team Champions, they will now verse the Years 9 and 10 Champions in the coming weeks.
