GPCC Secondary Swimming Carnival
It was a wonderful day last week at the Secondary Swimming Carnival. There was a lot of colour in the grandstand, with students dressed in their House colours.
The competition was as fierce as ever, with some age groups really having a close battle for the Age Champion spot. There were some very highly contested events, only won by hundredths of a second, and not only determined points for their House, for their age champion race, but also for who represents the College at Zone.
A squad of 50 students qualified for the Zone Secondary Swimming Carnival held on Wednesday 3 March (a report on the Zone Carnival will be included in next week's Messenger).
The recipients of the 2021 Swimming Age Champions and Overall Winning House will be presented at the Term 2 Commendation Assembly.

GPCC Sport Teams
Trials for our GPCC Sport trials, in both the Primary and Secondary, have begun and are in full swing at the moment.

With Gala Days looming closer, teams and coaches are aiming to finish off their trials so as to begin preparation for these tournaments.
