Student Voice
Lauren G (Year 10)
Lauren is hitting the pavement for a cause. Lauren's good friend Charlie F from GPCC has Neuroblastoma and is currently undergoing chemotherapy.
The aim of Lauren's fundraiser is to give a little support to Charlie and his family through the next year. Her idea was to run for 1 month, every day, to try and reach
150 km. If you can, please support Lauren through her efforts to make a small difference. Please click on the GoFundMe link to donate if you can. Thank you.
this connection would also bring some smiles to Charlie over the next month, as he keeps up with her progress.
Well done Lauren, we are proud of your efforts.

Year 7 Mission Focus
Last week Morgan D (Year 7) had her hair cut to raise money for cancer research.
This is something Morgan has done twice before, raising over $3,000 for the research into cures for cancer. If you would like to support Morgan this time around, you can do so at the link provided: https://www.doitforcancer.com.au/fundraisers/lisadooley

We encourage students to email contributions for our new section of our weekly newsletter, titled "Student Voice". It may be a short story, a poem, service activity, an achievement or award (sporting, scouts, Duke of Ed etc). Please email to jcollins@gpcc.nsw.edu.au for consideration of inclusion in The Messenger.
