Official Library Opening- Tuesday 27 April

Adam Crouch MP was our special guest at this informal school event to celebrate the completion of the Library upgrade process. We are so blessed to have this amazing Library for our school community to use. Green Point Christian College would like to thank the Library staff for all their hard work over a number of years to make our Library relevant and accessible for both staff and students.

Thank you also to Phil Magann and his team at ABAX Kingfisher, for their design and layout suggestions and the amazing furniture they delivered. ABAX have produced a video, please see the link below to watch how the Library was transformed.

Finally, we would like to thank our College Board and Executive for their commitment and direction throughout the process.

Library use has doubled since 2019; in particular our senior students are utilising the space effectively.

National Simultaneous Storytime- Wednesday 19 May, 10-11am

Kindergarten - Year 2 will be celebrating National Simultaneous Storytime this term. Our book “Give me some Space” is being read from the International space station. Students will watch the astronauts reading the book to us and learn a little about living in space. The Library is having Space Week in Week 5 to coincide with this amazing event. Over 1 million students in Australia and New Zealand participate each year.
