It has been great to have Dr Patricia Weerakoon at the College this week.  Her talks have challenged all of us in the way we see identity and sexuality. 

She has given a very Biblical and Scientific perspective on this whole area that is confronting our young people.  Patricia challenged the very real messages that the popular and online media are bombarding our children with which continues to confuse their value and identity. Hopefully, you can have some authentic conversations with your students around this area. 

I pray that these sessions will enable our students to question the voices they are hearing every day in this area. 

Year 10 - 2021 Central Coast Career Pathways Expo

On Tuesday 22 June, all Year 10 students are going to the Careers Expo excursion at Avondale College. If you have not already, please log in to the Parent Lounge to give your permission for your child to attend.

NAIDOC Week Fundraiser 

On Wednesday 23 June, there will be a fundraiser to help support the ministry of Pastor Isaac Gordon of Brewarrina. 

This will be a mufti day (gold coin donation) where the students are to wear the colours of the Aboriginal Flag – Red, Black and Yellow.  They are to dress appropriately and respectfully. 

There will be a bake sale at recess where all kinds of yummy baked goods will be on sale.

 At lunch there will be a BBQ Sausage Sizzle and soft drinks outside the MPC.

 Please come prepared to support this event.

Years 10/11 Play

Years 10 and 11 will be performing a modernised version of Shakespeare’s The Two Gentlemen of Verona in Week 10 of this term on 23 - 25 June at 7.30pm each night and 11.30am Matinee on Friday.

Registration for this event is essential to enable us to provide a COVID safe capacity for this venue. Tickets will need to be paid for at the door

Adults: $10         Student/Concessions: $7            Friday Matinee: $5

Beauty and the Beast Rehearsals

There is a movement rehearsal this Saturday 5 June from 1.00pm - 4.00pm for 'Gaston' – dancers, ensemble and 'LeFou' required.

Our next Beauty and the Beast ENSEMBLE rehearsal will start up again next term.
