Paul Kelly Cup AFL Finalist  

It is very exciting to announce that our Senior Primary Boys AFL Team will be competing in the State Finals of the Paul Kelly Cup in August. They qualified by winning
their Regional competition and will now represent our school and the Central Coast at this competition.

They will be playing their Final at Giants Stadium on Wednesday 18 August. We can’t wait for this one!

State Futsal Championships 

We want to wish our Junior Boys, Senior Girls and Senior Boys Primary teams all the best at the State Futsal Championships next Tuesday in Maitland. After their amazing performances at Maitland Regional Competition, they now will compete in the challenging State Finals.

Zone Secondary Futsal 

The U15 and Open Boys Futsal teams travelled up to Maitland last week for the Zone Secondary Futsal Competition. There they would be playing against other Christian Schools in our Hunter Zone.

Like all Zone competitions, the teams competing were very skilled and scoring wins was very challenging. Our two teams had a great day, passing the ball around very well and creating a number of scoring opportunities.

In the end, the U15 Boys finished 5^th overall with the Open Boys placed 4^th. Well done on a great effort!

Zone Secondary Basketball 

Our U15 and Open Girls Basketball teams competed at the big Zone Secondary Basketball competition. The winning teams would then progress to the CSSA State Finals.

Both of our teams had a fantastic competition, with some close wins and losses. The teams that they played against were strong and many teams contained rep players. Eventually, our U15 girls just missed out on the Finals, while the Open Girls took out the Final and were crowned Zone Champions.

Well done to all the girls for their superb efforts on the day and we wish the Open Girls all the best for CSSA State.

CSSA Secondary Open Boys and Girls Soccer State Finals

At the Zone Soccer Gala Day in Tamworth earlier this year, our Open Boys and Open Girls teams dominated, winning their Finals and progressing to the next level being the CSSA State Finals.

These Finals were held at Jamison Park this past week and both of our teams had a wonderful day. Though there was some slight confusion with the grounds, both teams represented our school proudly and performed exceptionally well against some of the best soccer teams from Christian Schools in the State.

The Open Boys missed out on making the Semis while the Open Girls played in their Semis. The girls combined brilliantly in their Semi Final, winning and moving to the Final where they were beaten, but they were still finalists.

Superb effort by these teams to make it to CSSA.

CIS Secondary Touch Football Championships

This week, Declan R travelled to Sydney to compete at the CIS Secondary Touch Football Championships.

Declan was chosen in the CSSA Team several weeks ago, so competing at this level of competition is a true reflection of the talent that he possesses.

Congratulations to Declan on such a fine achievement!

GPCC Secondary AFL Years 7 and 8 Team

After their superb performance at the Regional AFL Competition for Years 7/8 Girls, our team has qualified for the State Finals. This is a superb achievement by this group of girls and we wish them all the best for their big competition.
