The choices we make
This week I spoke in Chapel (on TEAMS) to the students about who and what influences the choices we make. I encouraged the students to reflect on the story of Paul and how his life changed when he had God in his life.
A HUGE thank you to all of our families who are juggling multiple hats at the moment. Whether it be several children doing home learning, running a business and having children at home, working part time or full time, essential workers, health workers. We appreciate you. THANK YOU.
Let's continue to encourage and support one another.

Absentees
Please note that even though we are learning from home, teachers are marking the roll each morning in their TEAMS meetings. If your child is sick or not up for school, please phone the office to mark them as absent. If students miss the morning meeting they will be marked absent. If you have internet issues during this period and are unable to get on line but your child will be working on school work throughout the day, please let the office and their teacher know.
Parents Coming on Site
Under current restriction we must limit people coming on site. If you need to pick something up for your child such as resources, please phone ahead. Once you arrive you must QR code in at reception and let them know what you are picking up. Then please wait outside and it will be delivered to you.
Resource collection
Our teachers have done a wonderful job in creating work that can be done at home, but also scaffolding this with online components such as MS TEAMS meetings and personally created videos with instructional teaching.
To assist your child in their learning, teachers have prepared some more take-home resources and these will be available for pick up on Monday 2 August 2021 starting from 11:00am. This is a drive-thru pickup at the Kiss & Drop 1, located in our main carpark. This later time will enable students to still participate in the morning catchup meeting, Maths and English lessons on Monday morning.
Resource pick up times are as follows and are based on family surnames. Eg if your surname is Smith you would come at 12:00pm:
- 11:00am – Families with surnames A-C
- 11:15am – Families with surnames D -G
- 11:30am – Families with surnames H -L
- 11:45am – Families with surnames M -R
- 12:00pm – Families with surnames S -Z
If you are unable to collect resources at this time, please phone the office and arrange a contactless 'click and collect style' pick up in school hours.
