Fruit and Veg Month

We will be participating in Fruit & Veg Month 2021. The theme for this year’s event is ‘Festival Fruit & Veg!

The United Nations has declared 2021 as the International Year of Fruits and Vegetables. This year the world will be celebrating the amazing contribution that fruits and vegetables make to our health – and our school is going to join the party!

Fruit & Veg Month 2021 runs from Monday 30 August to Friday 17 September.

As part of Fruit & Veg Month, students will be involved in various home learning activities which encourage them to eat more fruit and vegetables.

We will be having a virtual fruit/vege break together online in our morning meetings. We also encourage children to create their very own fruit and vegetable sculpture and ask students to send in photos to share.

Resource Pick up – Years 2, 4 and Kindergarten

On Monday 30 August we will be having another round of resource collection. This week it is Years 2, 4 and Kindergarten that need to collect resources for the next two weeks of home learning.
