Student Representative Council

During our Chapel service this week we will be presenting our 2020 Student Representative Council with their badges. There are Student Representatives elected from each class. These students have an important role in bringing student voices the surface. The parents and friends of our Student Representative Council are invited to celebrate with these students.

K-2 Swimming Carnival

On Friday 13 March our K-2 students will be attending their swimming carnival at the Peninsula Leisure Centre. Families need to have completed the online permission notes that were emailed out during last week.

Students need to arrive at the pool by 9:00am and the carnival will end at 12:00pm. Please ensure that you have read through this information that has been sent out.

Parent Helpers at our K-2 Swimming Carnival

To keep this wonderful day as safe as possible, we still require some parent helpers to be in the water assisting our students. Parent helpers must hold a current WWCC and have given their number, name and DOB to the College office before the day.

Halogen National Young Leaders Day

It was an early start on the train for the awesome Young Leaders Day. My favourite speaker was John Coutis. He was so enthusiastic and spoke about the challenges without having legs and how he overcomes everything with enthusiasm. Thomas G

I had a truly amazing day. Some of my favourite things that the speakers said was to believe in myself, that I have value and I can make a difference. I am encouraged to share this message with other students, that God has made them perfectly. Bella T

I really enjoyed listening to the guest speakers at the National Young Leaders Day. They shared their life stories with us and told us that if we work hard, success will eventually come. I was encouraged by listening to them and enjoyed the days with my GPCC friends and teachers.  Charlie M

Music, inspirational talks and fun - that basically describes the National Young Leaders Day. It was so fun hearing from four different leaders and their life experiences. What a day! Eloise A

As a leader, it was a great experience to share in the National Young Leaders Day. I was so blessed to go there. I would like to thank Mrs Smith and Mrs Munro for their encouragement as we had a great day. Daniel M

Attending the Young Leaders Day was a perfect opportunity to learn and become a better leader. Thank you teachers for organising such an event. Micah R

Online Excursion Notes and Permissions

Notifications regarding excursions/events will now be emailed to parents, and paper reply slips will no longer need to be returned. In their place, you will need to acknowledge receipt, attendance or other requirements by logging into Parent Lounge with your username and accept the event which is listed in the “Tours and Excursions” sub menu.

You will need to read and acknowledge the attachments, terms and conditions, tick the appropriate boxes for transport and/or bus details, and medical requirements. You must ensure that your child’s medical information is correct and updated in Parent Lounge, and relevant to that excursion before your child can participate.

When the appropriate boxes are ticked, you will need to select “Accept” in the box below the cost box, and then select “Save” at the bottom of the page to complete the acceptance.

If you have any questions, please contact the office on 4363 1266.
