2021 Age Champions
Since the beginning of Term 3, we have been wanting to present Age Champion trophies/medallions to a number of students in both the Primary and Secondary school.
In Primary, we were planning on presenting the Athletics and Cross Age Champions at a special assembly just before students went to Zone Athletics (in early August), but unfortunately due to Lockdown, this was unable to happen.
Secondary were going to receive their Athletics and Cross Country Age Champions at the Commendation Assembly in Term 3, but that also was cancelled.
With restrictions stopping the ability to hold special assemblies or commendations, we still have been unable to present these awards.
However, there will be a chance to present some awards at the end of the year.
Primary are planning on having special Stage Thanksgiving Services in the last week of school where class awards will be handed out. We will also be able to present:
- Athletics Age Champions (1st - 3rd place)
- Cross Country Age Champions (1st – 3rd place)
Secondary will receive their awards at their own Year Assembly in the next couple of weeks. These awards will be:
- Athletics Age Champions (1st – 3rd place)
- Cross Country Age Champions (1st – 3rd place)
- Swimming Age Champions (2nd – 3rd place)
It is a shame we are unable to hold these special services for the whole Primary or Secondary School to acknowledge the wonderful achievements of students in our school.

Central Coast Aademy of Sport - Basketball
Congratulations to Sophie V, Year 7, who recently made the Central Coast Academy of Sport Basketball team. This is a competitive squad to qualify for, so Sophie’s place has been hard-earned and is well-deserved. Well done Sophie.
CSSA Primary and Secondary Tennis
If there are any students in Primary (Years 3-6) and Secondary (Years 7-11) who are experienced tennis players (playing for a number of years) and play competition tennis and would like to be considered for the CSSA Primary and Secondary Tennis trials early next year in February, please email Mr Lambert on nlambert@gpcc.nsw.edu.au to register your interest. Also include details on years playing and competition results.
