    2021

This has been a very different year in education and in society in general. The amazing teaching staff of GPCC once again made the pivot to an extensive learning from home environment, and then back to in class learning without a hitch. We truly have amazing teachers.

Once again we reimagined curriculum to learn from home, created virtual excursions, and created daily family activities including bushwalking, backyard Olympics and board game nights. Students as young as five participated, like corporate employees, in daily video conference calls instead of classrooms, uploading their work at the end of each day. We supported each other, demonstrated love, patience and grace and we did not just survive, but thrived. That is the sign of strong community.

This week, we celebrate our students' achievements at our Thanksgiving and Graduation Services. I am thankful and so incredibly proud of the resilience, grit, determination, and tenacity demonstrated from both our staff and students across this year. My prayer is that you can rest over the break and reflect on God’s provision for you during this time. May you have a happy and safe Christmas.

    Class Lists 2022

Over the past few weeks our teachers and Enrichment staff have been forming class lists for 2022. A lot of thought, consideration and intentional planning goes into placing your child in the best space for them to learn in the upcoming school year.

On Monday, our children will meet the other children in their class for 2022 and will spend time with their new class teacher getting to know them and discussing the year ahead. When your child comes home please take time to assist them in processing the feelings of new beginnings and the opportunities for new friendships that each new year brings.

    Thanksgiving Services

Due to the requirement to keep cohorts of students separated, we will be having three, stage-based Thanksgiving Services. Under current restrictions, parents are not allowed to attend these Thanksgiving Services. Please understand this is entirely due to the need to remain compliant to the current restrictions and we will make every effort to photograph all prize recipients for future memory keeping.
