Story Time - Term 1
Story time will not run onsite during Term 1. A program is being sent down to preschool students, however we are hoping we will be able to resume in Term 2, restrictions allowing.
Library Lovers Day
The Library is already in full swing and we are looking forward to celebrating our first event of the year - our annual LIBRARY LOVERS WEEK from 9-16 February. Libraries across Australia all participate in this exciting venture. This is an opportunity to be reminded of all the services and resources our fabulous newly refurbished Library offers to our staff and students. In addition, it is a time to enjoy the discovery of exciting novels in all genres and to discover something new to read.
"It is a time to remember that our libraries are a place where we can get lost in an idea we are following, find an adventure we are seeking in a book, discover more about an issue we feel passionate about or get help from someone about something we want to know" ALIA, 2022.
The theme for 2022 is 'Show the Love'. We have asked our staff to nominate their favourite childhood book and these are on display in the Primary Library with a sticker on the front to let you know which teacher has chosen that particular book.
Students will find many activities available throughout the week both during classes with their teachers (eg Speed Book Dating for Secondary English classes) and at recess and lunchtime.
