THACCCSA Zone Swimming Carnival

Last Thursday our Primary School Swimming Squad competed at the Zone Swimming Carnival in Newcastle. We had a competitor in just about every race and it was wonderful to see the talent on show across several schools.

 Our team performed very well throughout the day finishing 3^rd overall behind Belmont Christian College and Wyong Christian School. We had some Age Champion and Place Getters, and our Senior Boys Relay Team broke a long-standing record in the 200m Freestyle Relay. Well done boys!

 Age Champions/Place Getters:

10yrs Girls 1^st place - Sophie C

11yrs Girls 3^rd place - Penny L

11yrs Boys 1^st place - Reef M

We now look forward to taking a strong squad to the CSSA Carnival in March. Great work team!

CIS Basketball Trials

Congratulations to Jessica W and Jiya M who recently competed at the trials for the CIS Girls Basketball Team. Well done on a marvellous effort.

GPCC Sport Teams

Over the next few weeks students in Primary will be able to start signing up for trials for certain GPCC Sport Teams.

• Announcements will be made at Assembly as to when this will take place.

 Teams that students will be able to start signing up for are:

• Year 5/6 Girls Soccer team
• Year 5/6 Girls Netball team
• Year 3/4 Girls Netball team

Sport Tryouts 

Junior Girls Touch Football Tryouts continue on Monday 28 February at lunchtime on the oval with Mrs Stewart.

Senior Boys Basketball Tryouts are in Week 6 on Tuesday 1 March and Friday 4 March at lunchtime in the MPC with McLellan.

Senior Girls Basketball Tryouts are in Week 8 on Tuesday 15 March and Friday 18 March at lunchtime in the MPC with Mrs Beaman.
