GPCC Sport Teams

Over the next few weeks students in Primary will be able to start signing up for trials for certain GPCC Sport Teams (weather permitting).

Announcements will be made at Assembly as to when this will take place.

Teams that students will be able to start signing up for are:

Year 5/6 Boys Soccer
Year 3/4 Soccer team
Year 5/6 Girls Soccer team
Year 5/6 Girls Netball team
Year 3/4 Girls Netball team

Last Friday 25 February the Secondary School held their annual swimming carnival at Mingara. Despite lower attendance, there was still a strong level of participation. There were some events that had as many as three heats. The house competition was hotly contested with many lead changes during the day. At the end of the day, the winning house was the Vav’au Breakers, followed by Taloa Warriors, with Ha’apai Hurricanes finishing in third place and the Eua Eagles in fourth.

The Age Champions on the day of the carnival were as follows:

12 Years Girls:

13 Years: Girls:

1^st place: Bronte M

2^nd place: Ciara W

3^rd place: Emily B

13 Years Boys:
