GPCC Sport Teams

Trials began this week for Years 3/4 Boys Soccer Futsal, Years 5/6 Girls Futsal team and Years 5/6 Girls Netball team. Teachers will hold 2-3 trials as required and choose a squad. Children that attend trials are congratulated for ‘giving it a go’, but all understand that not everyone can be chosen.

Mr Lambert and Mrs Burton will begin their trials for Years 5/6 Boys Soccer/Futsal and the Years 3/4 Girls Netball teams respectively when they return to school.

Please email Mr McSwan before these dates if your child (Years 5 and 6 only) would like to be considered. They need to be currently playing in the sport and have several years experience (preferably at a Representative level):

Cross Country Training

For those students who love to train and compete in Cross Country, it would be ideal for students to go on some short and long distance runs over the next couple of weeks in preparation for the Cross Country Carnival on Thursday 7 April.

Distances run:

- 8/9 years Girls and Boys - 2km

- 10 years Girls and Boys - 2km

- 11 years Girls and Boys - 3km

- 12/13 years Girls and Boys - 3km
