GPCC Primary Athletics Carnival
Last Friday we were blessed with beautiful sunny weather and as a result were able to hold our Primary Athletics Carnival at Mingara, albeit minus shot put and discus which will be held at school at some point later this term.
It was quite a sight seeing the students run and jump during events as well as hearing cheering from the crowd to encourage each competitor. Congratulations to all the students for doing their best and we now look forward to taking a strong team to Zone in early August.
Stay tuned for Age Champions, Zone squad and winning House results which will be published at a later date once shot put and discus events have been held.
Thank you to the amazing teachers, parents, House Captains and student helpers for your assistance in making the day a great success.
