PA TO THE HEAD OF SECONDARY

Permanent Full Time (during school terms)

We are currently seeking a Personal Assistant for the Head of Secondary to join our Business Services team.  The successful applicant should possess skills and experience in the following areas:

Essential Skills and Experiences

  • Demonstrated proficiency and competence in Microsoft Office applications;
  • Well-developed time management and problem-solving skills;
  • Demonstrated capacity to work in a team environment;
  • Demonstrated understanding of the principles of quality customer service, courtesy and professionalism;
  • High level of interpersonal and communication skills.

Desirable Skills and Experiences

  • Education, industry training and/or relevant experience equivalent to the successful completion of a Diploma in Business Administration;
  • Experience in working in a diverse education environment.

HSC PRESIDING OFFICER

TO COMMENCE 2023

GPCC is seeking a Presiding Officer for the Higher School Certificate (HSC) to commence in 2023.  Training/handover to be undertaken during the HSC Examination period in October/November 2022.

The Presiding Officer is responsible for managing the preparation, conduct and supervision of the Higher School Certificate (HSC) Examinations. As Presiding Officer, you will need to use common desktop computer packages (Excel, Word, websites), be well organised; show good attention to detail; be able to manage students and effectively organise and supervise the examination supervisors.

Green Point Christian College is starting a RAP - Reconciliation action plan.

A RAP ‘outlines a whole-scale approach to driving reconciliation by building relationships, respect and opportunities in the classroom and around the school’.  We are seeking students, parents and community members who are interested in becoming involved in this very important process.  A community meal has been planned for Tuesday 28 June. If you are interested in promoting reconciliation, please save this date. More information will be provided closer to the date.

GPCC now has eight Violins available to hire from the school.  As can be seen in the photos, there are Violins of various sizes to suit students of all different ages. This is a great option for any students wanting to give Violin lessons a try without the cost of purchasing an instrument.

Every year the Central Coast Council support the Youth For Youth Action Team to host a youth forum to promote the exchange of ideas, open a dialogue on the topic and empower young people to facilitate action.

The 2022 Y4Y Youth Forum ‘FINDING YOUR WAY TO A HAPPY AND HEALTHY YOU!’ explores youth mental health, well-being and the pursuit of life purpose.
