Concert Band Perform at Primary Assembly
The Concert Band did a stellar job performing for the Primary school on Friday morning. Despite having several key musicians away sick, and their conductor, having to step in on tenor sax to cover some parts, the band played with joy and confidence. We warmed up with Queen's Bohemian Rhapsody, then the jazz classic Summertime, and finished with a choral piece called 'For the Beauty of the Earth', which we found out has a special place in Mrs Smith's heart! We are looking forward to our next concert at the Week 10 Secondary School Chapel service.
