This term the College Executive have decided to award a Staff Member of the week. A recipient can be from any department in the College, nominated by other staff, in acknowledgement of going above and beyond to do something special e.g., additional duty for others, a kind and thoughtful act, taken on a task to help others, supported someone else even though it cost them, is known to do an exceptional job all the time etc.

This week’s recipient was Mrs Veronique Logemann, an Enrichment Officer in Secondary School, from our Enrichment Department. Mrs Logemann was presented with the award in Staff Devotions on Wednesday morning. She was nominated for 'putting others ahead of herself and stepping in to help where she can. Her colleagues and students appreciate her kind and thoughtful nature, her patience and the support she provides'. We are thankful for Veronique and the wonderful example she is to us all.

Prefect Camp

This week our incoming prefects went to Camp Toukley to begin and unpack the role of prefect at Green Point Christian College. They participated in sessions on Servant Leadership, Leadership, Expectations of being a Prefect and Working Together as Part of a Team. We pray God’s blessing over this fine group of young men and women and look forward to seeing them serve in our school. Huge thanks to Mr Masters who led the group and Mr Harris and Mrs Melck who assisted with delivery of the sessions.
