CSSA Netball Metro Cup
Senior Girls
Congratulations to the Senior girls who played fantastic Netball last week in Penrith. Their enthusiasm, positive attitude and encouragement towards each other on the court and their humility and sportsmanship in each and every game that they played demonstrated their love and passion for their sport. The girls showed strength as they played 7 games back-to-back, with only a 7-minute break between games. They ended the day with a win and came 4th. It was a privilege to coach these girls and I look forward to seeing them continue to excel in Netball in the future. Well done Lily D, Ruth G, Sibella M, Amelia, D, Sarah T, Erin R, Nylla P, Isla L, Chelsea, S and Zoe D.
Miss Gemma Cooper
Junior Girls
The Junior Girls Netball team were amazing when we played in Penrith last week. It was a big day for everyone with an early 6am bus departure, but the girls didn't let any tiredness affect them playing their best in the games throughout the day. The girls played so well versing numerous different teams where they won and lost games and ended up coming tied 4th. I am so proud of the great teamwork skills they developed and good sportsmanship demonstrated to other teams. Thank you also to the lovely Mrs Sirone who brilliantly umpired many of the games throughout the day. Well done Asher B, Lexi A, Miranda V, Lucy G, Grace G, Emily C, Lanayah H and Piper L. As said in our chant, "Pass, Pass, shoot!"
Mrs Laura Burton
