Head of Secondary
Last week we welcomed our Year 12 students back from HSC Trial Exams. Year 12, whilst you are on the home stretch, it is very important that you keep doing your best and finish strong. The remainder of this term will be filled with results, reflections, and preparations for the HSC. We are incredibly proud of the young men and women that you are and pray God’s blessing over you, may he give you peace, good health, and stamina as your 13 years of schooling come to an end.
MADD Night
A fabulous a fabulous night celebrating the achievements of the class of 2022 HSC students undertaking practical subjects. The first MADD night for a few years!
The CAPA theatre was packed to the rafters as family and friends gathered to be entertained and delighted by the creative talents on display. The Music and Drama performances on the stage showed a kaleidoscope of talent from rock to classical, and mesmerising solo and group Drama performances that left a lasting impression. The Visual Arts body of works and Drama costume designs exhibited in the theatre illustrated concepts of depth that the students were passionate about sharing and incorporated a breadth of styles, including fine illustrative gouache work to colour pencil and film. In the TASS area we were delighted by the technical finesse of the Industrial Technology and Textile work.
A special thanks to Mrs Lumby's Hospitality and Food Technology classes, who prepared a delicious supper for all to share.

Year 11 Food Tech class
Year 11 Food Technology have been learning about the Digestive System in our Nutrition unit. To help them remember the diagram they made a model using biscuit dough. They have done a great job wouldn’t you agree?

Our Year 7 students had the opportunity to watch 'Backflips Against Bullying' in the MPC. This presentation gave students a clear look at how bullying can happen via social media and tools to stop the bully in their tracks with thought-provoking responses. Our students enjoyed tricks, as well as the practical advice on becoming a more positive member of the school community.
