Blokes BBQ Breakfast

The weather held and 175 important men – our very own superheros gathered to celebrate fathers and the importance of male role models. Bacon and egg rolls washed down with OJ and hugs and smiles for our photo booth were the order of the day. Thank you Mrs Karen Munro and Mrs Brooke Milsom for your efforts in organising this great morning.

Year 6 Write a Book in a Day Competition

A selected group of Year 6 students were involved in the Write a Book in a Day competition. It involved a collaborative team effort, where students plan, write and illustrate a book. Completed books are shared digitally with children in hospitals across Austrlia.

This is a fundraising project and the school will make a donation on behalf of our participating students to 'The Kids Cancer Project'. Thank you to our teachers Ms Lauren Pal and Mrs Kaylie Turner for organising.

Father's Day Stall

Thank you once again to all of the Grade parents and helpers who assisted on the Father's Day stall, both serving on Friday and wrapping on Thursday. Events like this are so important to our students and could not happen without your support, we appreciate you.

Summer Uniform and HATS from Monday 5 September

From Monday 5 September, students are able to wear their summer uniform to school. This does not become compulsory until next term. Please note that HATS MUST BE WORN whenever students are outside from Monday 5 September. Please ensure all hats have your child’s name on them.

Costume Notes

Costume notes have been emailed to all families. Please take time to read them and ensure you know what students need to wear on what days.

Jungle Book Tickets

Our tickets are on sale through Trybooking at this link.

All tickets are $5. There is no reserved or set seating. Students attending GPCC Primary school do not need to purchase a ticket but all other people attending including Secondary students will need a ticket.

For families with students in lead roles please note that the Devine Vines cast will perform in their leads in the Friday Matinee at 1:30pm and Creative Creatures cast will perform in their leads on Saturday twilight show at 6:30pm.

All students are expected to perform at both shows. Parents and families are welcome to attend more than one show.

Dinner Available Before Jungle Book - Kids on Saturday 17 September

We have booked a food truck (North Burger Co), Ice cream van and a coffee van for families to purchase food and drinks before/and after the Jungle Book performance on Saturday 17 September.

Food purchases are available from: 5:00pm - 6:00pm, and is open for dinner and ice creams after the show.

17 September – Primary School Musical 'The Jungle Book – Kids' Twilight performance (food trucks available from 5:00pm).
