Mrs Nicole Smith | Head of Primary

Primary Choir

The Primary Choir will rehearse in CAPA 9 (around the corner from the CAPA 5 theatre) next Tuesday (13 September) at 8:00am due to the HSC Music Performance exams. Please ask children to walk on the path next to the MPC rather than the road, as staff are accessing the road during this time period. This is our last rehearsal before the Jungle Book performance. The following week we will focus on preparations for Christmas celebrations. We would like to thank you for your support throughout the term and hope you enjoy the choir’s performance in The Jungle Book.

FVM2022ThemeLogo.jpeg

Our Primary School will be participating in Fruit & Veg Month 2022.

This year’s theme is all about Building Fruit & Veg Communities

Fruit & Veg Month 2022 runs from Monday 5 September to Friday 30 September.

As part of Fruit & Veg Month, students will be involved in various classroom and school-based activities which encourage them to eat more fruit and vegetables. Each day your child is encouraged to bring at least two serves of vegetables or fruit to school. Please have a read of the recommended amount each day. If your child brings in fruit and vegetables for the week, they will place a sticker on their class poster. There will be three winning classes each week (one per stage) with the highest percentage of fruit and vegetables consumed. There is also a family and student competition which you can join for more fruit and vegetable fun. Happy crunching!
