    Staff Member of the Week

    20221026_083057.jpg

This week’s recipient was Mr James Cantor, the Assistant Head of Primary. James was presented with the award in Staff Devotions on Wednesday morning. He was nominated for the way he carries out his work each day with a servant heart. He rises early every morning, he searches high and low for Primary casuals, deploying them to cover the varying needs of the day in a manner that could be compared to the division of loaves and fishes amongst the 5000.

His pastoral heart is consistently evident, as he looks for ways to support the staff wherever he can, even joining a touch football team to boost team morale. We are so thankful for James’s thoughtful nature and his servant heart and for the wonderful example he is to us all.

    Operation Christmas Child Shoeboxes

This week our OCC shoeboxes were collected with the assistance from 2D and 2G students. This year we had 221 boxes collected.

This is such a great opportunity for our students to share God's love with others. Our students prayed for each of the boxes and for the children receiving these boxes. Each child that receives the gift of a shoebox participates in 'The Greatest Journey', a follow up discipleship program run through their local church.
Thank you to all the students and families that participated in our 2023 Operation Christmas Child shoebox appeal.
