At Monday mornings Secondary School Assembly we had a guest speaker from Brisbane Waters Police. Senior Constable Peter Hughes, the School Police Liaison Officer, launched a new initiative about violence in our community, our responsibility to report any concerns to the Police, and making good choices with our friends and social media. The presentation also involved a video of high-profile sports stars talking about their own experiences, the ramifications of poor choices and their responsibility to be role models to young people.

The School Police Liaison Officers' work closely with Central Coast schools to educate students on a whole range of topics including bullying, drug and alcohol abuse, social media and its impact on mental health and driving to name a few.
