CSSA Primary Biathlon
On Thursday 20 October a team of students travelled to the International Regatta Centre in Penrith for the CSSA teams and individual biathlon.
The preparation was busy with students having to either be competent swimmers in open water, strong long-distance runners or in individual competitor cases, good at both disciplines.
We had some very impressive results throughout the day with many teams finishing inside the top 10. We even had some winning or 2nd or 3rd place teams/individuals.
Well done to all those that competed throughout the day and to the parents for transporting your child/children for the event.

K-2 Swimming Carnival
Last Friday, boys and girls in K-2 participated in our swimming carnival at the Peninsula Leisure Centre, Woy Woy.
The children had lots of fun swimming, splashing, jumping, sliding, and playing with their classmates. A highlight for many children that I’ve spoken to was the large tipping water bucket and slippery water slide.
I’d like to thank all the parent helpers for braving the chilly pool water or handing out ribbons, to the House Captains and School Captains for setting a great example helping each grade and finally to the teachers for being simply amazing and running each activity.

Equestrian Star
In the October school holidays, Codie W of Year 11 was fortunate to represent Green Point Christian College as a member of the Equestrian Interschool NSW team at the Marcus Oldham 2022 Australian Interschool Championships held at the Sydney International Equestrian Centre.
It was a huge event with hundreds of school aged horse riders from all over the country, competing in disciplines such as Dressage, Show Jumping, Eventing and Show Horse.
Codie was selected in the Dressage Team, in the Senior Novice Class, completing 2 dressage tests on the Wednesday riding her horse, Koorana Regal Prince 2nd (Prince).
She was incredibly happy with how they performed in both tests, with a 4th and 10th placings and with an overall 8th place out of 20 riders. And to top it off Team NSW won the highest point scoring state over the championships. Congratulations Codie.
