Triathlon Super Sprint Championships
Wade B (Year 12) competed in Orange and became the U19 State Champion, winning Gold at the NSW Super Sprint Triathlon Championships, as well as winning gold in his own division (U17).
Incredibly, he missed out on also becoming the overall state champion (all divisions up to U23) by a mere 0.2 of a second.
It literally came down to a toe at the finish line, and he came away with the Championship silver medal.
Wade will compete at the National Super Sprint Championship in Canberra during January.
His result also secured him a place on the NSW U19 Junior Mixed Relay Team, where they will compete together in the National Junior Mixed Relay competition in Adelaide next April.
Congratulations Wade, GPCC are so proud of you.

NSW Christian Schools State Athletics Awards
This week at Year 12 year meeting some sports awards were handed out for the NSW Christian Schools State Athletics Championships.
Congratulations to Wade B, Mitchell M, Noah E, Troy M and Codie W.
